    針對傳統(tǒng)的末梢采血需要，采血筆提供一個標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的采血穿刺深度的筆頭，同時也提供一個針對多部位采血的備選筆頭(AST)。

    多部位采血是指從除指尖之外的其他部分采血，例如手掌、上臂、前臂等。多部位采血通常采集到的血樣比正常的指尖采血要少，但是適用于一些特殊情況。在嘗試多部位采血之前，請查閱血糖儀說明書并咨詢醫(yī)生的建議。

Alternate Site Testing is a procedure in which capillary blood is taken from sites other than finger tips; a fleshy part of the arm can be used (or another alternative site) which is free form any visible veins. This can be beneficial because sites can be chosen that are less sensitvethan the finger tips, offering a greater degree of comfort during regular blood sampling.

Alternate Site Testing generally produces less blood than the normal fingertip procedure but it is suitable for producing samples for use with certain blood glucose monitoring systeems.
